Today, an Open Day on the theme “An Honest Citizen — An Active Society” was held at the House of Friendship. The event was organized by the Association of the Alliance of Non-Governmental Organizations of the Kyzylorda Region, a legal entity association, with the support of the Regional Department of Public Development.
The main objective of the event was to strengthen cooperation among civil society institutions, support public initiatives, and promote open dialogue between government bodies and society.
As part of the Open Day, a public reception was organized, attended by representatives of government bodies, non-governmental organizations, local residents, and young people. Participants raised issues of concern to them and shared their suggestions and opinions.
During the meeting, a number of relevant issues related to public procurement were also discussed. In particular, participants asked questions about public procurement procedures, legislative requirements, transparency of the procurement process, as well as the rights and responsibilities of participants.
The questions were answered by Altinay Kuandykovna Kuandyk, a representative of the Kyzylorda Region Department of Public Procurement, who provided the participants with the necessary explanations.
Open-format meetings of this kind will continue in the future. They are aimed at strengthening feedback from the public, listening to citizens’ suggestions and concerns, and increasing public trust in the work of government bodies.
