New York,September 25, 2026– Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan Mukhtar Tileuberdiparticipated in an informal meeting of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS), held on the sidelines of the 81st session of the UN General Assembly.
Member States of the Organization expressed their condolences regarding the loss of Kazakhstan military personnel during naval exercises in the Mangystau region.
The Head of the Kazakh Foreign Ministry noted that, amid the current geopolitical instability, mutual support and coordinated action among the Turkic states are becoming increasingly important.
During the meeting, the parties discussed the current state and future priorities of cooperation within the OTS, as well as pressing regional and international issues. They reaffirmed their readiness to enhance the practical dimension of interaction and promote joint initiatives that serve the common interests of the Turkic states.
