13,825 students in grades 7–11 from educational institutions of the East Kazakhstan region have been covered by professional diagnostics as part of the implementation of the Media Plan of the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan for 2026–2027 and the Roadmap for the development of career guidance work in secondary education institutions of the East Kazakhstan region for 2025–2028.
During the diagnostics, students' professional interests and aptitudes, their competencies, level of professional motivation, and awareness of their future career choice were studied. The platforms Mansap.enbek.kz, Edukey.kz, as well as the differential diagnostic questionnaire by E.A. Klimov, were used to determine professional orientation.
Based on the diagnostic results, students' professional directions and interests were identified, which made it possible to structure further career guidance work taking into account their individual aptitudes, abilities, and professional preferences.
