Question

Are requisitioners required to post a single-source public procurement report on the web portal?

Answer

Within the framework of paragraph 510 of the Rules for the Execution of Public Procurement, approved by the Order of the Minister of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated October 9, 2024, 687 (hereinafter - the Rules), the Purchaser shall, no later than five working days from the date of conclusion of the contract, place on the webthe public procurement portal report on public procurement from a single source by direct contracting in accordance with annex 34 to these Regulations.

In accordance with paragraph 511 of the Rules, a single-source public procurement report by direct contract award shall contain:

1) Details of the official who decided to conclude a public procurement contract in a single-source way by directly concluding a public procurement contract;

(2) Rationale for selecting the provider;

3) Justification of the price of the concluded public procurement contract, as well as other terms of the contract.
