First of all, the Online Budget Monitoring module introduced last year has established itself as a basic measure of prevention; with the help of this system, the Committee aims to eliminate any risks of embezzlement of budget funds, thereby ensuring the protection of the interests of our children and teaching staff.
At its stage of development, it allows you to identify suspicious operations in the field of education.
The most common fraudulent schemes are double accounting with overstatement of wages and the transfer of money to fictitious employees, where, according to the documents, wages are charged to a number of persons, but others use accounts.
As a result of monitoring in educational organizations, more than a thousand cases with a high risk of illegal payments under the guise of wages were established, violations worth 1.5 billion tenge were confirmed.
On this issue, the Committee and the Anti-Corruption Service have established full interaction and understanding about the preventive component of this tool, while up to 10 working days are given to eliminate the identified unjustified payments to monitoring objects.
This year we are expanding the application of the module to the spheres of culture, sports and healthcare.
As the system develops, we will share with the public about its results.
