Can the applicant or other entity initiate an unscheduled audit of the state audit?
The applicant or other entity may initiate an unscheduled audit within the framework of the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On State Audit and Financial Control." In addition, according to paragraph 5 of Article 18 of the said Law, an unscheduled audit is carried out by internal state audit bodies in the following cases:
1) on behalf of the President, the Head of the Presidential Administration, the Government, the Prime Minister and his deputies;
1-1) at the request of members of Parliament;
2) in case of changes in the feasibility study or budget investment estimate;
3) based on the results of monitoring these budgetary information systems using the risk management system;
4) on appeals of individuals and legal entities, but only on those issues that were not previously considered in the framework of complaints on public procurement.
