The Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan for Regulation and Development of the Financial Market
How is interaction of the Sectoral Market with the financial market organized?
In order to automate operation of the Sectoral Information Security Center, the Automated System for Processing Information on Information Security Events and Incidents in the Financial Market (ASI "Qainar") was developed and launched on its own.
"QAINAR" system records and jointly processes information security events in the financial market. These include cyber attacks, facts of atypical activity, failures or malfunctions of information systems and other information security events that require verification.
Based on results of processing the information received in order to prevent cyber attacks, the Sectoral Center sends warnings about threats and vulnerabilities of information security to participants of the information exchange through QAINAR ASOI.
Each such event may be little but any serious cyber attack starts with small events, with the help of which criminals study flaws of financial organizations.
