Akimat of Atyrau region
What categories of graduates can receive a grant from the akim of the region?
In accordance with the Decree of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated January 23, 2008 No. 58 "On Approval of the Rules for Providing Educational Grants for Higher or Postgraduate Education for a Bachelor's or Master's Degree", the educational scholarship of the akim of the region is allocated from the local budget. This educational grant is awarded to professionals with a local level deficit, including teachers, doctors, farmers, etc. divided into specialties. A commission on educational grants has been created under the regional akimat. Acceptance of documents for the grant of the regional akim is carried out annually according to the results of the republican grant, that is, in August. After the adoption of the document, a meeting of the commission will be held. Here, the first UNT and CT scores are taken into account. With equal UNT and CT scores, preference will be given to the following categories of graduates.
1) holders of "Altyn Belgi";
2) persons awarded with a distinction for patriotic self-expression and active citizenship;
3) persons who graduated from organizations of technical and vocational education, with work experience of at least one year;
4) winners of international olympiads and competitions of scientific projects, presidential, republican olympiads and competitions of scientific projects (awarded with diplomas of the first, second and third degree);
5) orphans and children left without parental care;
6) disabled people of the first and second groups, disabled since childhood, disabled children and persons who have documents (certificates, diplomas) about the best education. In this case, with equal scores, educational grants are awarded to persons with average scores of certificates, diplomas or diplomas. If the scores match, as well as the average scores of the certificate, diploma or diploma, the scores obtained in the profile subject are taken into account.
