    If a citizen has housing in his personal property, can he, regardless of this, stand in line for an apartment?

    Answer

    According to Articles 67.69 of the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated April 16, 1997 “On Housing Relations”, housing from the state housing stock is provided for use by citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan in need of housing, permanently residing in this settlement, belonging to socially vulnerable segments of the population, as well as state employees, employees of budgetary organizations, military personnel, employees of special state bodies and persons holding public elected positions who do not have a home on the right of ownership in the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
