From January to May 2026, construction work (services) in the Altai district totaled 2,259.1 million tenge, a 58% decrease compared to the same period last year.
Construction and installation work accounted for the majority of this construction work, accounting for 58.7% of the total, amounting to 1,327.5 million tenge in value terms. Maintenance work accounted for 28.8%, and major repairs accounted for 12.5% (652.2 million tenge and 279.4 million tenge, respectively).
By ownership, private ownership accounted for 100% of the construction work.
From January to May 2026, residential buildings with an area of 1,556 square meters were commissioned in the Altai district, representing 106.8% of the same period last year.
