Apparatus of the akim of Shemonaikha county of Shemonaikha district of East Kazakhstan region

The city of Shemonaiha is the center of the Shemonaiha district. It is located in the northeastern part of East Kazakhstan region, 110 km from the regional center of Ust-Kamenogorsk. There is a large railway station in the city, and highways of national importance pass through it in the direction of Semey and the Russian Federation. The distance to the border with the Russian Federation is 18 km, to the city of Semey is 140 km. The period of the city's formation was 1961.
