Organizes and coordinates state control over compliance with the requirements of the laws of the Republic of Kazakhstan on technical regulation, on ensuring the uniformity of measurements and on accreditation in the field of conformity assessment. Monitors the activities of the Committee's territorial Departments.

The State Control Department sends information on monitoring the activities of the Committee's territorial Departments (hereinafter referred to as the Department) for 11 months of 2020.

According to the reports provided by the Departments, the total number of activities covered by the state control was 350 inspections, including unscheduled – 107, preventive control with visits-134 and joint inspections with other state bodies-109.

According to the results of inspections by Departments for the specified period, violations were detected in 220 cases, which is 62.9% of all inspections. 160 prescriptions were issued, 109 resolutions were issued in the case of an administrative offense, the amount of administrative fines amounted to 57,455. 3 thousand tenge and 1 resolution without imposing an administrative fine.

During the conducted inspections, the territorial Departments suspended 13 accreditation certificates from the subjects of accreditation, issued 15 decisions on the case of an administrative offense in the amount of 10,811. 4 thousand tenge.

46 certificates of expert auditors were suspended, 47 decisions were made in the case of an administrative offense in the amount of
12,306. 9 thousand tenge.

Unsubstantiated and unreliable issuance revealed:

- 5393 certificates of conformity (of which 1554 certificates were revoked);

- 5,421 declarations of conformity (of which 4,270 declarations were withdrawn);

- 2930 certificates of SI verification (of which 1587 certificates were revoked).

Within the framework of raising the level of literacy of the population, information and explanatory work was carried out to inform consumers in the field of technical regulation and metrology: 88 speeches were made on regional television channels, 145 articles were published in regional newspapers and 1066 articles on the websites of territorial Departments, as well as 857 round tables and conferences were held.
