The Department of Customs Control after the release of goods is a structural subdivision of the Department. The Department of Customs Control after the release of goods consists of the following departments:

Department of Desk Customs Inspections

Department of on-site customs inspections

The main tasks of the Department are: ensuring the implementation of tax and customs legislation and compliance with the rights of foreign trade participants.

Timely issuance of notifications on the results of the inspection, on the elimination of violations based on the results of the customs inspection and control of their execution.

Timely transfer of materials on the amounts owed to the appropriate department for accounting and collection of additional amounts of customs duties and taxes on production amounts, based on the results of post–customs control. The Department of on-site customs inspections conducts customs inspections with departure at the location of a legal entity, the implementation of the activities of an individual entrepreneur or the place of actual implementation of activities by such persons. An on-site inspection can be an unscheduled on-site customs inspection and a counter unscheduled on-site customs inspection. Unscheduled on-site inspections are carried out without restrictions on the frequency of their providence. Implementation of on-site and desk customs inspections after the release of goods for compliance with the customs legislation of the Customs Union and the Republic of Kazakhstan, international treaties and other legislation in the field of customs.
