Compliance with the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Eurasian Economic Union, control over the execution of which is entrusted to the Department, participation in the implementation of state policy; implementation of customs administration within its competence in accordance with the customs legislation of the EAEU and the Republic of Kazakhstan; organization of control over the conduct of operations preceding the application of the customs procedure, application of the customs procedure of customs transit and export of goods outside the customs territory of the EAEU; ensuring information exchange with customs authorities of other states; ensuring control over customs operations related to customs declaration, customs clearance and release of goods, including using information technology; ensuring compliance with the conditions of customs procedures, including when placing goods under which goods do not acquire the status of EAEU goods, using information technology;control of customs operations, related to the customs declaration of certain categories of goods and vehicles, including the use of information technology; ensuring the quality of public services in accordance with standards and regulations for the provision of public services
