Department of Customs Administration

Ensuring compliance with the international obligations of the Republic of Kazakhstan and implementation within the competence of the Department of Cooperation with customs and other authorized (state) bodies of foreign states, international organizations, customs services of the EAEU member states on customs control issues; Ensuring on a permanent basis timely informing and advising participants of foreign economic and other activities in the field of customs affairs on issues related to the customs legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan and other issues within the competence of the Department; Organizing work on the creation of customs control zones; Providing methodological assistance on the development and control of compliance with technological schemes of passing vehicles, in checkpoints; Administration of conditionally released goods related to the submission of documents confirming the conformity of the goods specified in subparagraph 2) of paragraph 1 of Article 202 of the Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On Customs Regulation in the Republic of Kazakhstan"; In areas of competence, interaction with state bodies of the Republic of Kazakhstan and other competent authorities of foreign states, international organizations on customs issues; Within the competence of the Department, identification of administrative offenses, initiation of proceedings on cases of administrative offenses, control over the execution of the resolution on cases of administrative offenses;

Implementation of customs administration within its competence in accordance with the customs legislation of the EAEU and the Republic of Kazakhstan; Conducting advisory and information and explanatory work on customs operations related to the implementation of customs control and other issues within the competence of the Department; Implementation of control over the activities of persons engaged in activities in the field of customs; Ensuring interaction and participation in the processes of international cooperation on customs control issues within the competence of the Department; Compliance with measures to protect intellectual property rights taken by customs authorities when performing customs operations; Implementation of control over compliance with measures to protect intellectual property rights when performing customs operations related to the placement of goods and vehicles under customs procedures; Control, compliance with prohibitions and restrictions; Interaction with the state bodies of the Republic of Kazakhstan and other organizations; Organization of control over the application of the Customs procedure of Customs transit and export of goods outside the customs territory of the EAEU; Control over goods and vehicles transported in accordance with the Customs Convention of 1975, using a TIR Carnet.
