    General information

    Department of project works of the Committee for construction and housing and communal services of the Ministry of industry and infrastructure development of the Republic of Kazakhstan

    Functions:

    1) implementation of the state policy in the field of architecture, urban planning and construction;

    2) participation in the development of scientific, scientific and technical projects and programs financed from the state budget, and their implementation within its competence;

    3) preparation and approval of reports on completed programs in architectural, urban planning and construction activities financed from the state budget, within its competence;

    4) collecting and summarizing information on General areas of activity with the proposal of ways to improve the policy, within its competence;

    5) development of normative legal acts within the scope of competence;

    6) participation in the development and implementation of state programs in the field of design;

    7) promoting the development of the domestic market for design and planning products (services);

    8) providing consulting and methodological assistance to state bodies, economic entities of the architectural, urban planning and construction industry on design issues;

    9) cooperation with public associations and organizations on design issues;

    10) participation in the development of the procedure for the development and approval of the mandatory composition and content of pre-project and project (design and estimate) documentation;

    11) participation in the development of rules for assigning buildings and structures to technically and (or) technologically complex design objects;

    12) participation in the development of rules for establishing the procedure for attracting organizations to provide engineering services for projects financed from budget funds;

    13) participation in the development of rules of education by individuals and legal entities that perform project expertise (including state expertise), expert commissions and involvement of specialists to participate in the expertise;

    14) making proposals for the development of new and revision of existing building codes and rules in the field of design;

    15) organizing and supervising the quality of project documentation.
