Department of Regulatory and Technical Support and qualification verification of Knowledge of the Committee for Atomic and Energy Supervision and Control of the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan

The Department of Monitoring of Territorial Departments and Qualification Verification of Knowledge (hereinafter referred to as the Department) is a structural subdivision of the Committee for Atomic and Energy Supervision and Control of the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan (hereinafter referred to as the Committee).

Task: implementation of the state policy in the field of electric power industry and in the field of nuclear energy use.

In order to implement this task, the Management performs the following functions:

prepares proposals to improve the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the field of electric power industry and in the field of nuclear energy use;

considers, develops and coordinates, within its competence, regulatory technical acts of the Republic of Kazakhstan, instructions, methodological guidelines in the field of electric power industry;

conducts legal monitoring in relation to regulatory legal acts within the competence of the Department;

within the scope of competence, participates in the development and implementation of strategic and program documents, proposals for Strategic and Operational Plans of the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan;

ensures, within its competence, compliance with laws and other regulatory legal acts of the Republic of Kazakhstan;

develops and implements, within its competence, measures to improve the indicator "Connection to the power supply system" of the World Bank's "Doing Business" report;

Develops and implements, within its competence, measures to improve the indicator "Quality of electricity supply" of the Global Competitiveness Index of the World Economic Forum.
