Management of monitoring and control over licensing and certification

The Department for monitoring and controlling licensing and certification performs the following functions:

1) control over the activities of local Executive bodies on licensing and certification issues;

2) organization of work on certification of state construction inspectors;

3) organization of work on accreditation of legal entities applying for a comprehensive non-departmental examination of construction projects;

4) organization of work on accreditation of non-state certification centers for certification of engineering and technical workers involved in the design and construction process;

5) organization of work on accreditation of legal entities that perform technical supervision and technical inspection of objects of the first and second levels of responsibility;

6) providing information and methodological support on licensing and certification issues;

7) consideration of complaints from individuals and experts performing expert work and engineering services in the field of architectural, urban planning and construction activities;

8) participation in the development of draft legislative and other normative acts, as well as participation in the improvement of normative legal and normative-technical acts aimed at improving legislation;

9) performing other functions in accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the instructions of the Committee's management.
