Department for the development of the state language

TASKS OF THE DEPARTMENT FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF THE STATE LANGUAGE:

- provision and coordination of work on the gradual transition of the Kazakh alphabet to the Latin script;

- coordination of work on the placement of requisites and visual information.

FUNCTIONS OF THE STATE LANGUAGE DEVELOPMENT DEPARTMENT:

- implementation of the action plan for the gradual transition of the Kazakh alphabet to the Latin script until 2025;

- ensuring the coordination of the activities of working groups (spelling, technical support) under the National Commission for the Translation of the alphabet of the Kazakh language into Latin graphics;

- coordination of work on the placement of requisites and visual information in accordance with the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan "About Languages in the Republic of Kazakhstan";

- coordination of visual information monitoring in the republic for compliance with language norms;

- control over the organization of work on the compliance of the text of visual information on Internet resources with spelling standards, etc.
