Security Directorate

Main Tasks of the Directorate:

1) organizing and maintaining access control and internal security regimes within the Agency;

2) ensuring the operation and monitoring of access control systems, video surveillance systems, security alarms and other technical security equipment;

3) developing internal regulations governing access procedures, security arrangements and the use of technical security systems;

4) administering the issuance, registration and control of electronic and physical access passes;

5) cooperating with law enforcement authorities, government bodies and local executive authorities on security-related matters;

6) monitoring the condition of technological equipment located in the Agency’s server rooms to ensure timely preventive maintenance by service providers;

7) ensuring the functioning of fire alarm systems, automatic fire extinguishing installations and other physical security systems;

8) developing and implementing civil defense and emergency preparedness plans;

9) taking measures to prevent, localize and eliminate natural and man-made emergencies;

10) organizing civil defense exercises and emergency response drills for Agency personnel;

11) notifying management and relevant city emergency services in the event of incidents or emergency situations;

12) organizing evacuation procedures in emergency situations;

13) identifying potential security threats that may cause damage to the Agency;

14) ensuring the protection of the Agency’s property, assets and infrastructure;

15) ensuring security during events held at the Agency in coordination with responsible departments;

16) implementing security measures in response to terrorist threats, unlawful actions and protest activities;

17) monitoring and assessing the overall level of security within the Agency;

18) organizing activities in accordance with fire safety regulations;

19) developing internal fire safety regulations and coordinating fire safety measures within the Agency;

20) conducting fire safety briefings and maintaining internal fire safety control.
