Department of Analysis, State Control and Technical Cooperation

The Department of Analysis, State Control and Technical Cooperation (hereinafter – the Department) is a structural subdivision of the Committee for Atomic Supervision and Control of the Atomic Energy Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan (hereinafter – the Committee).

The Department has the following functions: Performs regulatory, implementation, and control and supervisory functions, and participates in the performance of strategic functions of the central executive body within its competence; Approves regulatory legal acts on issues within the competence of the authority; Exercises control and supervision over the activities of individuals and legal entities within its competence; Analyzes licensing documents within the framework of public services in the field of the use of atomic energy; exercises permitting control; prepares proposals for improving the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the field of the use of atomic energy; conducts proceedings on administrative offenses within the competence established by the laws of the Republic of Kazakhstan; ensures, within its competence, compliance with the laws and other regulatory legal acts of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the areas of national security, protection of state secrets, civil protection, mobilization training, and mobilization;
