Maslikhat of Ust-Kamenogorsk city

Maslikhat of the Ust-Kamenogorsk city is a local representative body, which operates in accordance with the Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Law «On local government and self-government of the Republic of Kazakhstan» and other regulatory legal acts. Deputies of the city maslikhat perform their functions on an unreleased basis, except the secretary of the city maslikhat who is elected from among the deputies and performs his functions on an exempt basis.

The session is the main form of the maslikhat's activity. In accordance with the Law, sessions are held at least four times a year. However, if necessary, the Law provides for the holding of extraordinary sessions of the maslikhat, which can be convened on the initiative of the Deputies or Akim (Mayor) of the city.

For preliminary consideration of issues submitted for consideration of sessions, implementation of decisions of the maslikhat and implementation of control functions, permanent commissions have been formed in the maslikhat.
