Functions:
- Providing informational and analytical support for the activities of the Penal Enforcement Committee (PEC).
- Conducting a comprehensive analysis of the Penal Enforcement System (PES) and developing management decisions for the PEC.
- Organizing and ensuring planning within the central office of the PEC and territorial departments of the PES.
- Ensuring executive discipline within the central office of the PEC.
- Developing the overall strategy for operational management.
- Organizing the collection, processing, and monitoring of information on the operational situation in the country.
- Implementing special operational plans.
- Providing methodological guidance for the operation of regional PES headquarters and offering practical assistance.
- Organizing and coordinating the PES’s international cooperation activities.
- Implementing PEC initiatives to establish and develop external relations with law enforcement agencies of foreign countries.
- Studying, summarizing, and incorporating positive domestic and international practices into PES operations in collaboration with PEC services.
