Structure — Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan

The National guard is designed to ensure the security of the individual, society and the state, and to protect human and civil rights and freedoms from criminal and other unlawful attacks.

The Committee of administrative police of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan is the agency of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan, carrying out management in the spheres of public order, public security and road safety, prevention, detection and suppression of criminal and administrative offences, disclosing of crimes, preventing crime, including the detection and suppression of juvenile delinquency, implementation of the state policy in the field of combating unlawful attacks against women within its competence, implementation of administrative proceedings within the competence established by the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The Committee of migration service is the agency of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan that performs interdepartmental coordination and implementation of state policy in the field of migration, monitoring, analysis and forecasting of migration processes, as well as organizing work on issues of refugees and citizenship of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The Penal Enforcement Committee is a structural unit of Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan, responsible for overseeing execution of penalties and other penal measures.
