The Prosecutor General's office manages the unified system of Prosecutor's offices of the Republic of Kazakhstan (hereinafter referred to as the system of Prosecutor's offices) within the limits of its powers, exercises Supreme supervision over compliance with the law on the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan within the limits and forms established by law, represents the interests of the state in court, and carries out criminal prosecution on behalf of the state.
