The bodies of the prosecutor's office exercise leadership, within their powers, of a unified system of bodies of the prosecutor's office of the Republic of Kazakhstan, on behalf of the state, within the limits and forms established by law, exercise supreme supervision over the observance of the rule of law on the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan, represents the interests of the state in court and on behalf of the state carries out criminal prosecution.
