Department of veterinary and sanitary measures of the State Institution "Department of Agriculture of the East Kazakhstan region"

The department performs the following functions:
- licensing of veterinary and sanitary examination of products and raw materials of animal origin in accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan on permits and notifications;
- receiving notifications from individuals and legal entities about the start or termination of entrepreneurial activities in the field of veterinary medicine, as well as maintaining the state electronic register of permits and notifications in accordance with the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On Permits and Notifications";
- monitoring the provision of public services in the field of veterinary medicine by subordinate organizations, carrying out control measures for the quality of the provision of public services by subordinate organizations;
- organization of state commissions for the acceptance into operation of production facilities that carry out the cultivation of animals, the procurement (slaughter), storage, processing and sale of animals, products and raw materials of animal origin, as well as organizations for the production, storage and sale of veterinary drugs, feed and feed additives;
- participation in state commissions for the acceptance into operation of production facilities engaged in raising animals, harvesting (slaughtering), storing, processing and selling animals, products and raw materials of animal origin, as well as organizations for the production, storage and sale of veterinary drugs, feed and feed additives ;
- participation in commissions for the state procurement of services for the transportation (delivery) of products (means) and attributes for the identification of farm animals, the preparation of a veterinary passport;
- determination of the need for products (tools) and attributes for the identification of farm animals and the transfer of information to the processing center;
- monitoring the use of attributes (tags) for the identification of farm animals and the transfer of information to the processing center;
- organizing the maintenance of a database for the identification of farm animals;
- planning activities for the identification of farm animals;
- organization of activities for the identification of farm animals;
- organization of sanitary slaughter of sick animals;
- collection of primary documentation for reimbursement to owners of the cost of neutralized (decontaminated) and processed without exception animals, products and raw materials of animal origin that pose a danger to animal and human health.
