Department of trade development

The tasks of the Department are to carry out state control over compliance with the maximum allowable retail prices for socially important food products within its competence; to organize work on the development and implementation of a set of measures for the development of stationary retail facilities within the framework of territorial development programs; to organize work on exhibition and fair activities; to develop proposals for minimum standards for providing the population with retail space; development and implementation of measures to achieve the minimum standard for providing the population with retail space; performing the functions of the Commission's working body to ensure the implementation of mechanisms for stabilizing prices for socially important food products; purchasing services from specialized organizations that implement mechanisms for stabilizing prices for socially important food products.
