Department of Language Development and Onomastics

Exercise control over the implementation of decisions of the regional maslikhat, the regional akim and his deputies, resolutions of the regional akimat, control over the implementation of recommendations of the Language Policy Committee and other documents on the development of languages;
Coordinate the activities of the department with district, city akimats, local executive bodies, enterprises (regardless of ownership forms) on the implementation of the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan " On Languages in the Republic of Kazakhstan»;
Coordinate inspections with supervisory authorities for compliance with the language legislation;
Conducting inspections and raids in state and non-state institutions to comply with the language legislation;
Performs the execution The Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan" On the Languages of the Republic of Kazakhstan " of July 11, 1997, the Decree of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On the State program for the development and Functioning of languages in the Republic of Kazakhstan for 2011-2019" and the Action Plan for the implementation of the development and functioning of languages, approved by the decree of the Akimat of the Akmola region, ensures the use of the Kazakh language as the state and other languages in all spheres of public life, coordinates the work of onomastics and control over visual information.
Organizes the work of the regional onomastic work.
Provides implementation of the solution of regional onomastic work.
Provides control over the execution of visual information and outdoor advertising in accordance with the current legislation and the competent writing of their texts in the state language, the organization together with the competent authorities of raid checks for the use of the state language on intra-city passenger transport.
Prepares materials for the mass media on onomastics, the use of the state language in visual information and outdoor advertising.
Prepares documents to the Republican onomastic commission under the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan, ensures the implementation of its conclusion, works with the central state bodies on issues that have received a positive conclusion, develops a draft resolution of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Ensures the implementation of the action plan for the development and functioning of languages, the implementation of the language policy in institutions, organizations and enterprises, regardless of ownership forms;
Organizes a solemn event dedicated to the Day of Languages of the People of Kazakhstan, contests and contests dedicated to the promotion of the state language;
