Department of Prevention, Monitoring and Methodological Support

The Department of Prevention, Monitoring and Methodological Support is a structural unit of the Department for the Protection of Children's Rights of the Zhetisu region and carries out activities to implement state policy in the field of protection of the rights and legitimate interests of children.

The main activities of the department are the organization and coordination of preventive work aimed at preventing violations of children's rights, monitoring compliance with the rights and legitimate interests of minors, as well as methodological support for government agencies and organizations for the protection of children's rights.

Within the scope of its competence, the Department:

* coordinates the implementation of preventive measures to prevent offenses, violence, bullying, cyberbullying, child abuse and other threats to their life and health;

* organizes monitoring of the observance of the rights and legitimate interests of children, analyzes the state of protection of children's rights in the region and prepares analytical materials;

* collects, summarizes and analyzes information about the situation of children, identifies problematic issues and develops proposals for their solution;

* Provides methodological support for the activities of local executive bodies, educational organizations and other institutions for the protection of children's rights;

* develops guidelines, memos, algorithms, and information materials;

* provides advisory and practical assistance to specialists of government agencies and organizations;

* organizes seminars, meetings, conferences and other training events;

* interacts with government agencies, educational, health, social protection organizations, law enforcement agencies, non-governmental organizations and other stakeholders;

Participates in the implementation of state and regional programs aimed at ensuring the protection of the rights and legitimate interests of children;

* considers applications from individuals and legal entities within its competence and ensures the maintenance of state information systems.

The department's activities are aimed at creating an effective system for the prevention of violations of children's rights, improving interdepartmental cooperation, improving the quality of methodological support for specialists and ensuring a safe environment conducive to the full development, upbringing and well-being of every child.
