Department for Liaison with Law Enforcement Agencies
General information
The task of the Department is to ensure the interaction of the regional Akim and the apparatus of the regional Akim with state and law enforcement agencies on issues of crime prevention, strengthening legality, and maintaining public order.
The Department also supports the activities of regional commissions on crime prevention, drug abuse prevention and combating drug-related crimes, human trafficking prevention, border issues, anti-corruption efforts, and other advisory and consultative bodies operating under the regional Akimat.
It exercises control over the implementation of the regional Akim’s directives on matters within the Department’s competence.
