Organization of the department's work. Timely and full implementation of the appointment or refusal to appoint payments: state basic pension payments, pension payments, state social benefits for disability, loss of breadwinner and age, special state benefits, state special benefits according to Lists No. 1 and No. 2; state allowances for birth, allowances for the care of a child up to one year, allowances for raising a disabled child, monthly payments after the end of the period of capitalization of payments for compensation for damage caused to the life or health of employees by legal entities liquidated as a result of bankruptcy; one-time monetary compensation to citizens affected by nuclear tests at the Semipalatinsk nuclear test site; subsidizing pension contributions to recipients of social payments for child care up to the age of one year; payments under state guarantees, one-time payments for burial; verification of the authenticity of documents necessary for the appointment of pension and social payments; ensuring timely and correct consideration of written appeals of citizens and organizations, preparation of reports and information on pension and social payments from the Republic of Belarus, reception of citizens on pension issues; representation on behalf of the Department in court and other organizations on pension and social payments. Implementation of state control over compliance with legislation in the field of pension provision, compulsory social insurance, special social services, within the limits of their powers. Clarification of pension legislation, including through the media.
