Department of pension and social security No. 1

Decides on the appointment (refusal to appoint, change, increase the amount of payment, suspension, resumption, termination of payment) of age pension payments, state basic pension payments, state special benefits (according to Lists No. 1 and No. 2). Exercises state control over compliance with legislation in the field of pension provision, social protection of disabled persons, and compulsory social insurance within its powers. Monitors the timeliness and completeness of the payment of pension and social payments from the republican budget, social payments from the State Social Insurance Fund within its powers. Interacts with local authorities and services on issues referred by the current legislation to the sphere of activity of the Pension and Social Security Department No. 1.
