Department of maternal and child health

Main goals

The department of maternal and child health care carries out the following main tasks:

3.2.1. Organization of control over the execution of Government decrees, orders of the Ministry of Health, decisions of the Akim, orders of decisions, decisions of the health department;

3.2.2. Control over the implementation of the Memorandum concluded between the Prime Minister and the Minister of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan to achieve the results of the indicators.

3.2.3 Control over the introduction of new perinatal technologies in all health care facilities in the region;

3.2.4. Control over the provision of the volume and quality of medical care for children and pregnant women in the region within the guaranteed volume of free medical care.

3.2.5 Coordination, execution and monitoring of the following programs:

3.2.5.1 State Program for the Development of Healthcare of the Republic of Kazakhstan for 2020-2025;

3.2.5.2. Territories development program for West Kazakhstan region;

3.2.5.3. Implementation of operational plans to reduce maternal and infant mortality.

3.2.5.4. The strategic plan of the health care management of the West Kazakhstan region;

3.2.5.5. Formation of complete and reliable information on the above programs to higher authorities.
