Department of Guardianship and Guardianship

The Department of Guardianship and Guardianship is a structural subdivision of the Department for the Protection of Children's Rights of the Zhetisu region and carries out activities to implement state policy in the field of protection of the rights and legitimate interests of children, as well as to ensure compliance with the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the field of guardianship and guardianship.

The main purpose of the department's activities is to ensure the protection of the rights and legitimate interests of children left without parental care, orphaned children, and children in difficult situations, as well as to coordinate the activities of the guardianship and guardianship authorities of the region.

Within the scope of its competence, the Department:

coordinates the activities of the guardianship and guardianship authorities of the cities and districts of the region;

organizes work on the identification, registration and placement of orphaned children and children left without parental care in family forms of education;

monitors compliance with the rights and legitimate interests of children under guardianship, foster care, foster care and foster families;

provides methodological and advisory assistance to guardianship and guardianship authorities;

participates in the consideration of appeals from citizens and organizations on the protection of children's rights;

interacts with government agencies, organizations of education, healthcare, social protection, law enforcement and judicial authorities on issues of ensuring the rights and legitimate interests of children;

participates in the preparation of opinions, information and analytical materials and proposals for improving state policy in the field of protection of children's rights.;

monitors the implementation of the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the field of guardianship and guardianship within the competence of the Department;

Participates in the work of commissions on juvenile affairs and the protection of their rights, as well as in interdepartmental cooperation on the prevention of social ill-being and the protection of children's rights.

The department's activities are aimed at ensuring every child's right to life and upbringing in a family, creating safe conditions for his development, protecting property and personal non-property rights, as well as timely measures to prevent and eliminate violations of children's rights and legitimate interests.
