Department of Onomastic Works and Analysis

Department of Onomastic Works and Management Analysis:

– organizes the work of the regional onomastic commission;
– conducts an examination of proposals received from akimats of Aktobe city, districts by name, renaming of settlements, constituent parts of settlements, institutions owned by the state;
– systematizes problems arising during the implementation of optimal onomastic policy;
– prepares, submits proposals to other interested bodies to improve the regulatory framework on the main issues of the department and ensures the achievement of the set goals, objectives, target indicators and performance indicators;
– conducts explanatory and propaganda work on onomastics in the media;
– organizes the release of educational literature on onomastics, holds conferences, seminars, round tables.
