Department of religious Affairs of the Aktobe region
regulations on the Department of interfaith relations

1. General provisions

1.1. the Department of interfaith relations is a structural division Of the Department of religious Affairs (hereinafter-the Department) and reports directly to the head of the Department;
1.2.the division carries out its activities in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Law of Republic of Kazakhstan "On religious activity and religious associations", acts of the President and government of the Republic of Kazakhstan, acts of akim of the region, the Regulation about the state institution "Directorate for religious Affairs of Aktobe region", and these regulations.

2. Tasks of the Department

2.1. organization of implementation and participation in events on observance of inter-confessional and inter-ethnic harmony, counteraction to extremism and terrorism in the region, information and propaganda events to explain the legislation;
2.2. consideration of issues related to violations of the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan "on religious activities and religious associations";
2.3. promotion of the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan "on religious activities and religious associations" through the media of the State information policy;
2.4. the provision of public services is carried out in accordance with the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan "on public services".

3. Department Structure

3.1. the structure and staffing of the Department is approved by the authorized official of the state body in accordance with the procedure established by the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

4. Functions of the Department

4.1. carrying out rehabilitation work on a regional scale with religious information and explanatory groups on issues of state policy in the field of ensuring the rights and freedom of religion of citizens in educational institutions and localities;
4.2. provide a response from legal entities and individuals to received applications and requests in accordance with the law;
4.3. organization, study, analysis, monitoring and formation of an information database on the activities of Christian religious associations established in the region;
4.4. in accordance with the annual management plan, monitor activities in the field of religion in General and the religious situation in the region;
4.5. provision of public services in accordance with the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan "on public services";
4.6. approves and monitors the implementation of the annual management plan:
4.7. hold timely meetings of the Council for relations with religious associations under the regional akimat and the club, which are held 2 times a year.
