INTERNATIONAL LEGAL DEPARTMENT

The International Legal Department of the Central Election Commission of the Republic of Kazakhstan is a structural subdivision of the Central Election Commission of the Republic of Kazakhstan

The main tasks of unit: 1) Analysis of election documents of international organizations, foreign legislation on elections and referendums; 2) Organization and maintenance of external relations of the Сentral Election Commission; 3) Protocol and organizational support for the participation of the Сentral Election Commission in international events; 4) Accreditation of observers of foreign countries and international organizations in elections and republican referendums in the Republic of Kazakhstan; 5) Participation in the work of the Central Election Commission on the organization and conduct of elections and republican referendums in the Republic of Kazakhstan within the competence of the unit.

The Department is headed by the head of the department, who is appointed and dismissed by the Chief of Staff in agreement with the Chairman of the Central Election Commission.
