Department of Methodology and Control of Medical and Social Expertise

Carries out organizational and methodological guidance and control over the activities of the departments of medical and social expertise. Implementation of the state policy in the field of ITU and in the field of social protection of persons with disabilities within its competence.

Functions: Consideration of appeals from individuals and legal entities on issues within their competence in accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan. To check the conclusions of the ITU primary departments in the order of control; To conduct a medical and social examination of persons who have appealed the conclusions of the ITU primary departments; To conduct examinations of patients and disabled people in difficult (controversial) cases, if necessary with the involvement of ITU department specialists and consultants from medical institutions; Formation of the AIS of the Centralized Database of Persons with Disabilities (CBDI), monitoring the causes, structure and condition of disability; Provide advisory assistance to the primary departments of the ITU; Carrying out information and explanatory work on ITU issues.
