Department of Physical Culture, Sports and Tourism of the Altai region

The state institution "Department of Physical Culture, Sports and Tourism of the Altai region" is a government body that provides leadership in the field of tourism in the Zyryanovsky District.

The main tasks and functions of the department:

- Identification and support of priority areas of tourist activity in the Zyryanovsky district;

- Promotion of tourist activities and the creation of favorable conditions for its development;

- implements state policy and carries out coordination in the field of tourism in the Zyryanovsky district;

- collects, analyzes and provides information to the akim of the district on the development of tourism in the territory of the Zyryanovsky district;

- develops tourism development plans and implements measures to protect regional tourist resources;

- coordinates the planning and construction of tourism industry facilities in the Zyryanovsky district;

- assists in the activities of children's and youth camps, tourist associations and the development of amateur tourism;

- Provides tourist information, including about tourism potential, tourism facilities and persons engaged in tourist activities;

- maintains a register of tourist routes and trails in the area;

- exercises in the interests of local government other powers assigned to local executive bodies by the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
