Department of State Legal Work

The department provides legal support for the activities of the regional akim and apparatus;

ensuring interaction of the regional akim with law enforcement other state bodies in the fight against crime, corruption, ensuring law and order, legality and national security;

study and submission for consideration of the regional akimat and meetings under the akim of the region of the most pressing and problematic issues on the prevention of offenses and countering corruption, countering religious extremism and terrorism;

implementation of legal expertise of draft legal and regulatory legal acts submitted for consideration by the regional akim, participation in the development and examination of draft legal and regulatory legal acts of the regional akim and akimat;

coordination of work of regional and city of regional significance of local executive bodies on the implementation of state registration of acts of civil status.
