Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the Kingdom of Belgium and the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, Head of the Mission of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the European Union and the North Atlantic Treaty Organization
Born on 14 August 1972 in the city of Shymkent. In 1994, he graduated with honors from the Military Academy of Economics, Finance and Law of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation. He began his professional career as a Senior Specialist at the International Department of the Administration of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan. He also worked at the Office of the Prime Minister of Kazakhstan, the Secretariat of the State Secretary of Kazakhstan, and other organizations. At the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan, he served as Ambassador-at-Large and as Chairman of the Committee for International Information. At various times, he held diplomatic positions at the Embassies of Kazakhstan in the United Kingdom and the United States of America. From 2016 to 2019, he served as Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan, and from 2019 to 2022, he was the Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Slovakia. Prior to his appointment as the Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Belgium and the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, Head of the Mission of Kazakhstan to the EU and NATO, he served as Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan from January 2022. He holds the diplomatic rank of Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary. He is fluent in English, French, Slovak, and Vietnamese.
