Committee of Industrial Safety of the Ministry for Emergency Situations of the Republic of Kazakhstan

The Industrial Safety Committee of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Kazakhstan is an agency of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Kazakhstan, which carries out management in the field of industrial safety within its competence.

The main tasks of the Industrial Safety Committee are to participate in the formation and implementation of the state policy in the field of industrial safety and the implementation of state supervision in the field of industrial safety at hazardous production facilities in the mining, metallurgical, oil and gas, petrochemical, chemical and other industries.

The purpose of industrial safety is to prevent man-made accidents at hazardous production facilities that pose a threat to the safety of citizens and the environment, which can potentially lead to a man-made disaster.
