    General information

    The objective of the Institution's activities is the implementation of state policy in the field of maintenance, operation, and safety assurance of water management facilities that are in municipal ownership.

    To achieve these objectives, the Institution carries out the following types of activities:

    1. Maintenance, operation, repair, reconstruction, and safety assurance of water management systems (facilities), which include reservoirs, water bodies with hydraulic structures, surface drainage and supply canals, riverbeds, and other waterways, located in municipal ownership (district or regional), including:

    • Regulation and water usage of water management systems (facilities): reservoirs, water bodies with hydraulic structures, surface drainage and supply canals, riverbeds and other coastal waterways, water protection zones, and buffer strips;

    • Clearing, widening, organization and implementation of dredging and bottom-cleaning works in water management systems (facilities); clearing of access roads to ensure access to water management systems (facilities);

    • Conducting regular inspections, periodic surveys, technical maintenance, construction works for reconstruction and modernization, as well as current and capital repair and restoration works on water management systems (facilities) of regional significance;

    1. Concluding contracts and supplying water to water users from water management and hydro-reclamation systems (including reservoirs, hydroposts, water-carrying chutes, pipes, etc.).
