    Akimat of Shymkent city

    On June 19, 2018, by decree of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Shymkent city was given the status of a city of republican significance. Currently, Shymkent consists of five administrative districts - Abai, Al-Farabi, Enbekshinsky, Karatau and Turan. The mayor office of Shymkent city provides management and control, organizational, legal, information and analytical, advisory and logistical support for the activities of the city mayor.
