Tasks:
- Implementation of state policy in the field of culture and language policy, creating conditions for patriotic and aesthetic education of citizens;
- Revival, preservation, development and dissemination of the historical and cultural heritage of the Republic of Kazakhstan;
- Creating conditions for the development of national and cultural identities, maintaining the continuity of cultural traditions, supporting talented individuals;
- Ensuring free access to cultural property, improving the work of club institutions of the city, libraries, museum, city park;
- Development of infrastructure and strengthening the material and technical base of urban organizations in the field of culture and the development of languages.
