State institution "Department of internal policy, culture and development of languages of the Altai region"

The mission of the Department: the implementation of state policy aimed at maintaining socio-political stability and unity of the people in the region, strengthening statehood, increasing the competitiveness of the information space of the region, as well as supporting and developing civil society, culture and language institutions.

The main tasks of the department:

1) ensuring domestic political stability;

2) coordination of the work of local executive bodies of the region, as well as the organization of a complex of informational and explanatory work among the population to promote the main priorities of the Development Strategy of Kazakhstan until 2050, the annual Messages of the President of the country, and the priorities of state domestic policy;

3) strengthening constructive interaction with political parties, socio-political organizations and religious denominations, as well as with other public associations, professional unions, national and cultural centers;

4) organization of work on issues of state information policy and monitoring of the media;

5) the adoption of measures aimed at the revival, preservation, development and dissemination of the culture of the people of the Republic of Kazakhstan;

6) taking measures to prevent in the field of culture propaganda or agitation of forcibly changing the constitutional order, violating the integrity of the Republic of Kazakhstan, undermining the security of the state, war, social, racial, national, religious, estate and tribal superiority, as well as the cult of cruelty and violence;

7) to develop the state language in every possible way, strengthen its authority, create all the necessary organizational, material and technical conditions for free and free mastery of the state language by all citizens of the Altay district;

8) to assist the Kazakh diaspora in the preservation and development of the native language.
