Education department

The main functions and activities of the State Institution:
1) organization of work of the department for the implementation of state policy in the field of education;
2) organization within the competence of monitoring compliance with legislation in the field of education and state generally binding education standards;
3) making proposals to the district akimat in accordance with the established procedure on the creation, reorganization and liquidation of state enterprises and educational institutions under the authority of the Department, approval of the Charters of educational organizations;
4) providing that citizens are provided with pre-school education, compulsory secondary General education, including evening education;
5) organization of registration of children of preschool and school age, their education before receiving or secondary education;
6) certification of educational organizations in accordance with the procedure established by the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan;
7) support and assistance in material and technical support of state educational organizations;
8) monitoring the state of the system of preschool education and secondary general education, providing intermediate state control of the quality of education;
9) implementation of state support for orphans and children left without parental care in accordance with the established procedure;
10) providing the activities of organizations of additional education;
11) promotion of employment of graduates of educational organizations;
12) implementation of education financing;
13) accounting and reporting of financial and economic activities of the department, ensuring interaction with financial control agencies;
14) analysis of the qualitative and quantitative state of provision of teaching staff and specialists of educational organizations;
15) organization of work on certification of teachers of education;
16) professional development of teachers, planning and organization of retraining, advanced training of teachers and scientific and methodological support of educational organizations;
17) provision of advanced pedagogical and information technologies, development of research activities of educational organizations of the district, information support of training and education processes;
18) cost-effective planning and analysis of the efficiency of using budget funds, strengthening the material and technical base through major repairs of school buildings;
