Department of internal security

The Department of internal security of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan is an independent operational and investigative division of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The Department of internal security consists of:

1) Managements;

2) Anti-Corruption monitoring office;

3) Operational management;

4) Management of investigations;

5) Personnel inspections;

6) Offices.

Tasks:

1) protection of constitutional rights and freedoms of individuals and legal entities;

2) protection of rights of employees and members of their families;

3) ensuring their own security, combating crime and other violations of the rule of law in internal affairs;

4) prevention, detection, suppression and disclosure of crimes and offenses committed by police officers;

5) pre-trial investigation of police officers;

6) prevention of violations of law and discipline by police officers.
