Behavioral Supervision Department
Key Functions of the Department:
1) regulating and supervising the activities of financial institutions to ensure the protection of the rights and legitimate interests of consumers of financial services;
2) monitoring financial products introduced under the notification procedure;
3) protecting the rights and legitimate interests of consumers of financial services and debt collection services, including protection against credit fraud and the unlawful withdrawal of funds from consumers’ accounts (hereinafter referred to as “financial fraud”), excluding matters related to cyber fraud, drug trafficking, pyramid schemes, and payments or transfers to electronic and online casinos;
4) coordinating the activities of the Agency’s regional representative offices in protecting the rights and legitimate interests of consumers of financial services, including combating financial fraud;
5) implementing behavioural supervision and promoting a customer-centric approach to service provision by financial institutions.
